This morning at 11 AM, we will arrive at New Delhi. After taking some rest, we will board the Shri Shakti Express at 7 PM to head towards Jammuβ¦
Early in the morning, we will arrive at Jammu. After freshening up a bit, we will begin our dream journey aboard a Tempo Traveller.
Around 2 PM, we will reach the capital of heaven on Earth, Srinagar. After some rest, we will spend the evening exploring the breathtaking Dal Lake. If you wish, you can also enjoy a Shikara ride (at your own expense).

Today's destination is Kargil via Sonmarg.
On this route, we will soak in the breathtaking beauty of Sonmarg and visit notable landmarks like Zojila Pass and Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world. We will also pay homage at the Kargil War Memorial before checking into our hotel in Kargil.

Today's destination is the thrilling state of India, "Land of High Passes"... Ladakh, with its stunningly beautiful capital, Leh.
On the way from Kargil to Leh, we will explore the following:

- Confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers (Sangam)
- Gurudwara Pathar Sahib
- Magnetic Hill
- Hall of Fame

Today's destination is the coldest desert region of the Himalayas and India, Nubra Valley and Hunder.
On the way from Leh to Nubra, we will cross a thrilling and worldβs second-highest (18,380 feet) motorable road, reaching the breathtaking cold desert city of Nubra. First, we will visit the Maitreya Buddha statue at Diskit Monastery, built in the 14th century. Then, we will enjoy a thrilling Double Hump Bactrian camel ride (at your own expense) to explore the Hunder Sand Dunes.

Today's destination is the unique Turtuk, India's last beautiful village, nestled like a green island amidst the grey Himalayas of Leh-Ladakh.
Turtuk is renowned for its rich orchards of apples, apricots, and a variety of other flowers, both known and unknown. It is home to the rare Baltic community, and lies close to the Line of Control (LOC), with the mysterious Karakoram Range nearby.

Today's destination is the world's highest saltwater lake, the stunningly beautiful Pangong Lake.
As the day progresses, the changing light transforms the lake's colors, shifting from deep blue to vibrant green, creating a scene that is truly unforgettable. The lake stretches nearly 160 km, with only a third of it located in India. Spending the night beside Pangong Lake and witnessing the night sky is an experience that could become one of the best moments of your life.

Today, we will bid Goodbye to Pangong Lake and return to Leh. Once there, we will take some time to explore the Leh Market, enjoying the local vibes and shopping for souvenirs as much as possible.

Today's destination is Jispa, as we bid farewell to the enchanting landscapes of Ladakh and begin our journey back towards Himachal Pradesh.
This journey along the Leh-Manali Highway is filled with adventure and unmatched beauty, as we cross one high pass after another. We'll pass through picturesque villages and challenging passes like Pang, Naki La, Lachung La, Sarchu, Baralacha La, and Darcha, before finally arriving at the small mountain village of Jispa.

Today's destination is Manali, as we journey from the serene Himalayas towards the artificial world.
We will start by visiting Gemur Monastery after leaving Jispa. Then, we will pass through Kelong, the capital of Lahaul-Spiti, before heading towards the charming town of Manali. If you wish, you can take a quick stroll around Mall Road to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the town.

Today's destination is Chandigarh Railway Station, passing through Kullu on our way.
After exploring the beauty of Kullu, we will proceed towards Chandigarh, where we will catch the midnight train heading back to Kolkata.

The memories of the recently completed Leh-Ladakh journey will remain fresh in our hearts, while the train continues its journey towards Kolkata. The adventure may have ended, but the experiences and stories from this remarkable trip will stay with us forever.

This morning, we return to Kolkata. One by one, we return to our homes, once again diving into the familiar routine of our busy lives. The journey may have ended, but the memories of the adventure will continue to inspire us as we move forward into our daily tasks.
