We left for Chandigarh by night train Netaji Express from Howrah.

All day by train to Chandigarh.

In the early dawn, we’ll reach Chandigarh… After organizing all the luggage properly, we’ll set off by Tempo Traveller towards Narkanda… Around 10 AM, we’ll reach Narkanda and check in to the hotel.

After some rest, we’ll visit the famous Hatu Mata Temple in Narkanda.

Bidding farewell to the peaceful and serene village of Narkanda, we’ll set off towards Sarahan… By late afternoon, we’ll reach Sarahan, where we’ll visit the ancient Bhimakali Temple.

Today’s destination is India’s last village… Chitkul…
Bidding goodbye to the calm morning in Sarahan, we’ll set out on an enchanting journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Kinnaur… On the way, we’ll visit the Taranda Temple… and the Karcham Dam, formed at the confluence of the Sutlej and Baspa rivers.
Finally, we’ll reach the small, picturesque mountain village of Chitkul on the banks of the beautiful Baspa River, surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty. We’ll spend the entire evening with the mesmerizing Chitkul and the lively Baspa Rivers.

Today, our destination is… Kalpa.
Upon reaching Kalpa in the afternoon, we’ll explore… the village of Chini and the Durga Temple, along with the thrilling Suicide Point… And we’ll witness the breathtaking views of the Kinnaur-Kailash Range.

Today, our destination is… Tabo.
Bidding an early farewell to beautiful Kalpa, we’ll set off… entering the mystical, untouched Himalayan land of Lahaul-Spiti district today…
Crossing the Khab Bridge, we’ll witness a dramatic transformation in the landscape… First, we’ll stop by Nako Lake… Then, we’ll continue towards Gue village, where we’ll see the naturally preserved 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk, known as the Gue Mummy💀…
By late afternoon, we’ll check in at the hotel in Tabo…

Today, our destination is the heart of Spiti… Kaza.
Setting out early from Tabo, we’ll visit the 1000-year-old Dhankar Monastery along the way… Then, traveling through some rugged paths, we’ll experience the unparalleled beauty of Pin Valley…
By late afternoon, we’ll check in at the hotel in Kaza…

Today’s destination includes exploring some of the world’s highest villages near Kaza… Komik, the highest village… Hikkim, home to the highest post office… and the ancient village of Langza, with a population of only 114 to 120 people…

Today’s destination is the small village of Losar…
On the way to Losar, we’ll visit the Key Monastery, a magnificent example of ancient Buddhist architecture and a true symbol of Spiti… Along with Kibber, we’ll also see the hanging Chicham Bridge at an altitude of 13,600 feet…

Today’s journey takes us from Losar to Manali via the enchanting Chandratal…
Leaving Losar, we’ll first travel along a rocky path to cross the Kunzum Pass, where we’ll stop to visit the temple of Kunzum Mata… A little further along the route, we’ll trek to witness one of Spiti’s main attractions, the breathtaking Chandratal Lake…
Then, leaving behind the rugged, ancient landscape of the Himalayas, we’ll head toward the familiar path to Manali…
By late evening, we’ll check in at our hotel in Manali…

There are no more destinations for today…
The entire day is reserved for complete relaxation… Of course, by late afternoon, a stroll along the beautiful Mall Road in Manali wouldn't be a bad idea, along with some shopping…

Today’s destination is a return to reality…
Bidding a fond farewell to our beloved Manali, we’ll head back towards Chandigarh… Finally, we’ll board the midnight train bound for Kolkata…

The memories of the recently completed Spiti journey and the train will continue to move forward together… on the way to Kolkata…

This morning, we return to Kolkata…
One by one, we return to our own homes, diving back into the familiar boundaries of our busy work life, once again…
