🙆🏻‍♂ Along the Arabian Sea this Autumn 🙆🏻‍♀

Departure from Howrah/Shalimar station in the evening by train. Our first stop is Chennai.

We arrive in the evening at Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. From there, we board the evening train towards “God’s Own Country” – Kerala.

Around 11 AM, we reach the historic city of Kochi.
After freshening up at the hotel, we’ll explore the mix of heritage and modernity:

• Fort Kochi
• Vasco da Gama Church
• Chinese Fishing Nets
• Dutch Palace
• Lulu Mall – India’s largest mall

Our next destination: Munnar
Via Ernakulam town, we’ll travel to the picturesque tea gardens and chocolate factories of Munnar in the Western Ghats.
Around 12 PM, we’ll visit the beautiful 🐐🐆🦌 Eravikulam National Park.

A full day to explore green Munnar covered in tea gardens.
We’ll visit:

• Rose Garden

Next destination: Thekkady
Located at the foothills of the Western Ghats, Thekkady is known for its lush jungles, spice, coffee, and herbal plantations, wildlife, and traditional arts.
Activities:

• “Kalaripayattu” Martial Art Show

On to Alleppey – the Venice of the East
Known worldwide for its 💦 Backwaters and 🚢 Houseboats.
After an early start from Kovalam, we’ll reach Alleppey and check into our decorated houseboat.
Enjoy a unique backwater cruise and get immersed in the local life, nature, and serenity.

Our destination: Kovalam
Leaving the hills behind, we now settle beside the tranquil Arabian Sea.
En route, we’ll visit the awe-inspiring 🙏 Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple

• Kovalam Beach ⛱

A day trip to the southernmost tip of India – Kanyakumari
We’ll return to Kovalam by evening.
Morning: Drive to Kanyakumari for sightseeing
Visit:

• Vivekananda Rock

  Return to Kovalam Beach in the evening.

Time to return home.
We bid farewell to the beautiful Kerala and head to Trivandrum Central Railway Station for our train back.

A full day aboard the train, heading home.

Around 11 AM, we reach Kolkata and depart for our respective homes.
Back to work with memories, and waiting for the next adventure.
