From Howrah/Shalimar station, take the Baikal train to Kerala, though our first destination is Chennai.

In the evening we will reach Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, then take the evening train from Chennai to "God's Own Country".

Today's destination is Munnar.
First reach Earnakulam town
Leaving the traditional city of Kochi, we will go out to the beautiful tea garden and chocolate kingdom of the Western Ghats.
Reach Munnar by 10 am, first visit the beautiful Eravikulam National Park under Forest Department.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

Visiting Munnar all day today…
Let's see one by one…. Green Munnar covered in tea garden…. Mathupeti lake… Kundala lake…. Photo point, Rose garden. …. And at the end of course a Chocolate 🍫 Factory Visit and Chocolate 🍫 packed for home…. 😋

Today's destination is Thekkady….
At the foothills of the Western Ghats, Thekkady is a thick green forest surrounded by mountains, gardens full of many familiar and unknown spices, coffee and various medicinal plants, many animals and birds and the original center of Kerala's arts and crafts.
On arrival at Thekkady we will first have a thrilling time with 🐘 elephants 🐘 on Elephant Ride… then we will witness a meditative performance of "Kathakali" dance and the awesome "Kalaripattu" performed by Marcel Art.

Today's destination is Kovalam
Now leaving the hilly area and settling on the shores of the Nile Sea, Kovalam Beach…
On the way we will see a thrilling architecture 🙏 Sri Padmanabhan Swamy Temple 🙏 which will create a wonder in my mind…. Then we will see one by one Golden Sand Beach (own expense), Kovalam beach ⛱ , lighthouse Beach. …
Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Today's destination is Kanyakumari, the last point of South India, but today we will travel all day and come back to Kovalam.
Early morning run to the sea shore of Kanyakumari, followed by a long queue to visit the famous Vivekananda Rock and Thiruvalluvar statue (own expense) ….
Returning to the beach of Kovalam after overcoming the magic of Kanyakumari like this time.

Today's destination is Alleppey. Which is one of the attractions not only in India but also for the entire world tourism is Back Water and 🚢boat-house 🚣‍♂️ a dream address…… ⛵Allepi ⛵……
A little early morning journey from Kovalam to Alleppey… On reaching Alleppey we will proceed 🚶🏻‍♀️ 🚶 towards the well-equipped houseboat waiting for us. What's more… Floating in BACK WATER is a totally new experience and a lot of fun… along with the wonderful geography and rhythm of local people's life.

Today is homecoming day.
Saying goodbye to Alleppey with the wonderful feeling of diverse Kerala like this time… After seeing Kochi Local Sightseeing, leaving for Ernakulam Railway Station….
Finally the Baikal train Chennai Express left for Chennai…

Arrived in Chennai in the morning and after some time left for Kolkata by Coromandal Express…

Return to Kolkata by 11 am and depart for home.
