We will start for Kerala by taking the evening train from Howrah/Shalimar Station, although our first destination is Chennai.

In the evening, we will arrive in the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and then from Chennai, we will board the evening train to journey to 'God's Own Country'….

Around 8:30 AM today, we will arrive in Kochi, the city steeped in Kerala's ancient heritage. After checking into the hotel and freshening up, we will set out to experience the blend of ancient tradition and modernity that defines Kochi. We will visit Fort Kochi, Vasco da Gama Square, the fishing nets, the Dutch Palace, and the largest Lulu Mall in India.

Today's destination is Munnar…
First, we will reach Ernakulam town, and after leaving the historic city of Kochi, we will set off towards the breathtaking beauty of the Western Ghats, the tea gardens, and the land of chocolates…
By around 12 PM, we will reach Munnar and first explore the beautiful Eravikulam National Park, which is under the forest department, home to the stunning flora and fauna like goats, leopards, and deer.

Today, we will explore Munnar the whole day…
One by one, we will visit the lush green tea gardens of Munnar, Mattupetty Lake, Kundala Lake, Photo Point, and the Rose Garden. And of course, we will end the day with a visit to a Chocolate Factory, where we can pack our favorite chocolates to take home… 😋

Today's destination is Thekkady…
Nestled at the foothills of the Western Ghats, Thekkady is surrounded by dense green forests, spice gardens filled with familiar and exotic spices, coffee, and medicinal plants, home to a variety of animals and birds, as well as Kerala’s traditional art and cultural hub.
Upon reaching Thekkady, we will begin with an exciting Elephant Ride 🐘. Then, we will witness a captivating performance of 'Kathakali' dance and the thrilling 'Kalaripayattu' martial arts demonstration.

Today's destination is Kovalam.
Leaving the hills behind, we will settle by the serene shores of the sea at Kovalam Beach…
On the way, we will visit the awe-inspiring architecture of the Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple 🙏, which will surely leave us in wonder. After that, we will visit the Golden Sand Beach (at our own expense), Kovalam Beach ⛱, and Lighthouse Beach.

Today's destination is the southernmost tip of India, Kanyakumari, but after a day of sightseeing, we will return to Kovalam.
We will start early and head to the shores of the sea in Kanyakumari. Then, we will stand in a long line to purchase tickets and visit the famous Vivekananda Rock and the Thiruvalluvar Statue (at our own expense).
After experiencing the charm of Kanyakumari, we will return to the beach at Kovalam.

Today's destination is Alleppey, known not only in India but also around the world for its mesmerizing backwaters and houseboats – a dream destination for travelers… ⛵Alleppey⛵.
We will start early from Kovalam and head towards Alleppey. Upon reaching, we will proceed towards the beautifully decorated houseboat awaiting us. And what’s next? A completely new experience as we cruise along the backwaters, enjoying the scenic beauty and the rhythm of local life blending seamlessly with nature.

Today is the day to return home…
With the wonderful and diverse experiences of Kerala in our hearts, we bid farewell to Alleppey and head towards the Alleppey Railway Station.
Finally, we will board the evening Chennai Express train to begin our journey back to Chennai.

After arriving in Chennai in the morning, we will take some time to relax and then board the Coromandel Express to begin our journey towards Kolkata.

By around 11 AM, we will return to Kolkata and head towards our respective homes.
Once again, we will dive into our work life, eagerly awaiting the next exciting travel destination to explore.
